The purpose of All Right Ministry is to encourage the church to recognize people of all abilities as full and active members of the body of Christ. We believe that God's promise of love and eternal love is for all people. All people are given unique gifts, to be used in the building up of God's kingdom on earth.

Another way to say it - God creates and loves us all. We all have God-given gifts (special skills, talents, abilities) which we can use to share God's love with other people and to make the world a better place to live.

All Right Ministry got it's name from our friend, Laura, who is a regular worship leader at Rejoicing Spirits at Peace Lutheran Church, in Wayland, MA. When we asked Laura how she felt about going to Rejoicing Spirits (an inclusive worship service and fellowship), she thought a moment and then said "All right".

Now, that may seem like a simple answer - but think about it - don't we all want to be "all right"? All right with each other? All right with God? "All right" implies feeling good, accepted, favored, loved.

That is exactly what God intends for all of us - that we have a right relationship with God - that we know we are good enough, accepted, favored, and loved by God.

We can only have this right relationship with God (what the Bible calls "righteousness") by having faith in Jesus Christ, who died for us. And - get this! - having faith in Jesus is a gift that God gives us - there's nothing we can do to earn it - it is free by God's grace and love. And it is a gift that God wants to give to all of us.

Here's the bottom line - God loves us all in the same way and God very much wants to have a right relationship with each one of us. We are made right with God by believing in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. That is the Good News we have to share with each other and with the world.

The Good News is for ALL people!
